Why we stock this, not everything.
There are hundreds of thousands of English-language books in print. A bookshop's job is to be a filter, not a warehouse. Every title on these shelves has been read, or vouched for, by one of the four booksellers at Constantin Mille.
New arrivals move quickly. Prize longlists get their own display in the shop the week they drop. Backlist stays on the shelves as long as the sales sustain it and the bookseller championing it stays passionate.
If the book you want isn't here, ask. We order individual titles for regulars every week.

Are your prices really this much lower than RRP?+
Yes. Selling under Recommended Retail Price is our permanent state, not a promotion — we operate on lower margins than a chain. The RRP shown is the price printed on the book's back cover.
Do you ship across Romania?+
Yes. Free above 150 RON, 15 RON otherwise. 2–4 working days by Sameday or FAN Courier.
Can I return a book I don't like?+
Within 14 days, unread, per Romanian consumer law. We'll refund in full.
